Icon of St. Dominica, Martyr
of Campania in Italy
Feast Days: July 6-7
St. Dominica or Kyriaki
("belonging to the Lord") was condemned to death by being exposed to
wild beasts. When she emerged unscathed, she was beheaded in Campania
for destroying idols, during the reign of the impious emperor
Diocletian. St. Dominica, pray to God for us!
Icon available from St. Isaac
of Syria Skete, Boscobel, Wisconsin.
